Gerry Gulla

I am an Associated Certified Coach (ACC) with the International Coaching Federation who has over 30 years experience in Human Resources across all areas of Career and Professional development.
I have been specialising in Coaching for over 15 years working at an individual level and in the
corporate environment. I work with a very broad range of clients including executives and people going through career transitions or facing challenges at work, school leavers, and women returning to the workforce. One of the things I find most exciting about coaching is the changes clients can make when you support them. I believe in the words of Pete Carroll that “Each person holds so much power within themselves that needs to be let out. Sometimes they just need a little nudge, a little direction, a little support, a little coaching, and the greatest things can happen.”

My Why
I love making a positive impact on people’s lives partnering with them to achieve the outcomes they want. I am inspired by the many amazing individuals I work with and their strength to change their circumstances when provided with a supportive environment and the appropriate tools.
Some of the quotes that unpin my approach are:
“Whether you think you can or whether you think you can’t, you’re right.” – Henry Ford
“The difference between ordinary and extraordinary is that little extra.” – Jimmy Johnson

My Approach
I endeavor to create an open, safe and trusting space to provide individuals with the
opportunity to truly open up, be heard and find the space within themselves to voice their
aspirations. Then, I support them in developing a framework that will work for their
individual circumstances by creating both short and long term actions to create their new
reality. I use numerous proven Coaching methodologies and strategies to ensure that my
clients achieve the outcomes they want.
The areas I work in include but are not limited to:
● Executive and leadership coaching
● Career transition, outplacement and life coaching
● Stress Management
● Support in preparing Selection Criteria effectively
● Interview tools and techniques
● Performance Review support

continued education and travel. I enjoy volunteering which has been a thread throughout my
life across various areas including supporting migrants in England, helping the elderly in
various voluntary positions in France, volunteering with the International Coaching
Federation etc. I moved from Ireland to the UK on completing my undergraduate degree
where I spent nearly 12 years, I returned to Ireland for a 2 year stint before immigrating to
Perth over 23 years ago. Spending time with family and friends is precious to me and I value
helping them where I can. Enjoying the beauty of nature, Yoga, Travel and experiencing
different cultures when possible are important to me.

Testimonials
Gerry assisted me in an HR capacity. I found her to be a positive, sincere and committed individual.
She operates in an honest and ethical manner, and is able to keep confidences. I would have no
hesitation in recommending her to any business relationship requiring those qualities.
