My name is Jae-Ellen Fowler and I am a qualified Occupational Therapist with six years experience in paediatrics. In 2013, I completed a Bachelor of Occupational Therapy at The University of the Sunshine Coast in Queensland. Since graduating, I have been employed at the Glenallen Specialist School in Melbourne VIC, Springvale Park Special Developmental School in Melbourne VIC, Pioneer Educational Trust in Hyderabad India and Mercy Care in Young NSW.
These positions have enabled me to utilise client-centred intervention to work holistically with clients including children, staff, parents, and therapists. Thus develop early intervention services and achieve optimal individual outcomes for children and their families.
Among the client group I have worked with are young people with:
- Visual and Hearing Impairments,
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD),
- Sensory Processing Disorder,
- Cerebral Palsy,
- Muscular Dystrophy,
- Down Syndrome,
